Obituary Of Mr. Everett Ed Washington Funeral Services for Mr. Everett Ed Washington will be held at the WINNFIELD FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL Friday, March 19, 2010 at 11:00 a. m. with burial following in the Gilgal Baptist Church Cemetery, Louella, LA. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 Brother Everett Ed Washington (Baby Ed) was born May 9, 1959 to Ms. Mary A. Washington and the Rev. Edward Robinson in Shreveport, LA. He departed this life March 15, 2010 in Natchitoches, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Edward Robinson, his brother, Bruce Bradford and his grandmother, Zeffie Washington. Brother Washington united with the St. Savior Baptist Church in Grand Ecore at an early age and was baptized under the spiritual leadership of the Rev. Ronnie Washington. His formal training was secured at the hands of teachers at the Central High School of Natchitoches, La. He chose carpentry as his vocation and was active as a constructor of buildings during his working years. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Mary A. Washington of Natchitoches, LA, his wife, Mary Parker of Houston, TX; three children Everett Washington, Jr. (Johnnetta) of Houston, TX, Fantasia and Lil Everett Curry of Natchez, LA; six sisters; Jessie Wallace, Surpornia Beaudoin, Etta Mae Jones (Clinton) all of Natchitoches, LA, Edwina Gammet of Montgomery, LA, Caldonia Samuels of St. Maurice, LA and Dorothea Samuels of Ruston, LA; three brothers, Theodore Robinson of Houston, TX, Joe Washington (Gwen) and Fred Bradford, Jr. both of Natchitoches, LA; one step daughter, Gussie Moody of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Liz and Kissy of Houston, TX and Roosevelt and Mario of Natchitoches, LA, Everett Washington, Jr. and Jaylon of Houston, TX; four great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
