OBITUARY OF MRS. EVELYN GRACE SHUTT WILSON WILLIAMS Mrs. Evelyn Grace Shutt Wilson Williams was in born in Natchitoches Parish July 5, 1928 to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert Wilson and Mrs. Primrose Goodau Wilson. Our beloved Shutt was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Mr. James Wilson and one sister, Ms. Alavaine Barnes. She received her education at the hands of teachers in the Natchitoches Parish Public School System. Mrs. Williams became united in matrimony with Mr. Dewitt Williams December 9, 1945 and the union was blessed with two sons who survive, Robert and Cecil. Religion was one of the basic fundamentals that marked the Wilson family and it was only natural that Evelyn was baptized and united with the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in the Clarence Community. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mr. Dewitt Williams, two sons, Robert Eugene Williams (Carolyn) and Cecil Harold Williams all of Natchitoches, LA; seven grandchildren, Tracey Haywood, Jason Perez, Emeka Williams, Robert Justin Williams, Lesa Williams, Kenyon Johnson and Tiffany Killian; nine great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren; six sisters, Robbie D. Watkins, Carrie Flemming, Elvira Grayson, Jessie Dean Johnson (Richard), Comeal Gray, Murl Gayle and one brother, Henry Wilson. Funeral Services will be held for Mrs. Williams at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00 a. m. with visitation at the Winnfield Funeral Home, 318 North Street, Natchitoches, LA on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 6:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. Burial will take place in the Lawrence Serenity Sanctum.
