Funeral services for Evalena Robinson age 84 of Natchez will be held on Saturday July 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home with Rev. Roosevelt Toussaint officiating. Interment will follow in the Morning Star B.C. cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Robinson passed on Sunday July 5, 2009 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Robinson was born on March 25, 1925 in Natchez, LA. to the late Joe Robinson and Lena Robinson. She confessed Christ at Morning Star B.C., under the leadership of Rev. F.G. McHenry on July 13, 1986. Left to cherish her memories: three sons, Leamon Hamilton Jr, Raymond LaCour, Laird (Lloyd) Ray Robinson, all of Houston, TX; two daughters, Dorothy Moses (James) of Houston, TX, and Brenda Williams (Lonnie) of Bossier, LA; three sisters, Rosetta Robinson of Houston, TX; Mae Lee Robinson of Natchez, LA; and Gertrude Robinson of Natchitoches, LA; (16)sixteen grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, and a special friend Avery Beard of Natchez, other relatives and friends.
