Funeral services for Ms. Cofield age 87 will be held at the Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel, 318 North Street, Natchitoches, LA Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:30 a. m. with Rev. Leo Walker, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Square Cemetery. Public visitation will be convened at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:00 a. m. until the time of the service Ms. Emma Louise Cofield was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana to the parentage of the late Mr. Charles Cofield, Sr. and Mrs. Violet Jackson Cofield April 9, 1923. She passed away June 18, 2010 in the Courtyard Convalescent Facility in Natchitoches. Ms. Cofield was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by two sons, Mr. Charles Cofield and Mr. Gary Cofield; one brother, Mr. Wilmore Cofield and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
