Funeral services for Mrs. Ella M. Butler, age 62, of Colfax, La., formerly of Winnfield, La., will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Olive M.B.C. in Winnfield, La., with Pastor James Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill B.C. Cemetery in Montgomery, La. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Butler, a homemaker passed Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010 at her residence in Colfax, La. Mrs. Butler is survived by: one(1) son, James Layton of Colfax, La; three(3) daughters, Jerelyn Carpenter of Ft. Polk, La; Carmalita Martell of Santa Maria, Ca. and Ursula Layton of Germany. two(2) brothers, Rev. Clarence Layton of St. Francisville, La. and Rev. David Layton of Montgomery, La; four(4) sisters, Gloria Surles and Shirley Foster, both of Madison, Al; Ethel Holland of Houston, Tx. and Frances Chapman of Colfax, La. seven(7) grandchildren, three(3) great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
