A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Jackson, she died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. She was 82. Visiting at Cornerstone International on Saturday, July 3, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Religious service at Antioch Full Gospel Church on Saturday at 1 p.m., conducted by Bishop Gregory Cooper. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by daughters, Shirley Cross, of Virginia Beach, Va., Annie R. Rose, Annette Rilley, Georgia G. Brumfield, Neomi G. McFarland and Elizabeth N. Marchand, all of Baton Rouge; sons, Robert S. Green, Roy A. Spears, Bishop George A. Spears and Gary A. Spears, all of Baton Rouge; sister, Ruth Heatly; goddaughters, Rose Flordia and Jackie O'Connor; 55 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and a grandson. Arrangements by Winnfield Funeral Home.
