Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Ann Below age 69 of Natchitoches will be held on Saturday January 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul B.C. with Pastor Leo Walker, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday January 22, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home. On January 14, 2010, the beautiful life of Sister Doris Ann Below went to join the Savior in that heavenly home not built with hands but whose maker and builder is Jesus Christ. She was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Elrena Johnson Anthony, on August 23, 1940 in Bermuda, Louisiana. She confessed Christ at an early age at the St. Paul B.C. Bermuda, LA under the leadership of the late Rev. Gentry Davis, Pastor. She remained a member of St. Paul Missionary B.C. under the leadership of Rev. Leo Walker, Sr. She held to her faith until she was called to her heavenly home Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 7:30 a.m. at the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. She was married to the late James Below, Sr. and this union was blessed with Five sons and three daughters. Her parents and one brother, James William Anthony, Sr. preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her most precious memories Diane Below (Lewis), Rev. James Below, Jr. (Andrea), Terry Below, Rev. John Below all of Natchitoches, LA; Craig Below of Baton Rouge, LA; Gregory Below of Shreveport, LA; Temika Below of Monroe, LA; and Monica Below of Bossier City, LA; one sister Betty Anthony (James) of Natchez, LA; In-Laws Eula Patterson of St. Petersburg, FL, Selina Below of Houston, TX and Louis Charles Below of Oakland, CA; grandchildren; Joshua, Brandon, Bruce, Martrevious, Travious, Jameshia, LaQuinta, Adria, Shantonesia, JaLessa, Jamaica, Meshay, JaReyna, Terinesha, Jamie and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
