Obituary

Obituary of Ms. Debra Sue Bolton Emmitt Funeral Services for Ms. Emmitt will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Ben Johnson Auditorium, 400 M L K Drive, Natchitoches, LA 71457 at 1:00 p. m. with burial following at Lawrence Serenity Sanctum. Public visitation will take place at the Winnfield Funeral Home, 318 North Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457 Friday, July 30, 2010 from 4:00 p. m to 9:00 p. m. Ms. Emmitt was a member of the Rock Island Baptist Church of Natchitoches where the Rev. Conway T. Jones is Pastor. She was a graduate of the Natchitoches-Central High School Class of 1977 and studied at NSU for two years. At the time of her passing she was employed as Manager of McDonalds located on I-49 and Keyser Avenue. Her career with McDonalds spanned a period of nearly thirty years interspersed with a brief tenure at MARTCO. Debbie Sue as she was so widely known to family and friends, leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Mrs. Daisy Frazier Bolton of Natchitoches; two children, LaToya Emmitt and LaTroy Emmitt both of Natchitoches; two grandchildren of Natchitoches; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Sawyer (Earnest), Mrs. Joyce Pickett, Mrs. Melva Mitchell (Johnny) all of Natchitoches; two brothers, Mr. Wilmer Bolton, Jr. and Mr. Ronald Bolton (Angela) both of Natchitoches, two special aunts, Mrs. Mary Armstrong and Ms. Helen Bolden of Natchitoches and a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends along with the members of the Natchitoches-Central High Class of 1977.
