He was an excellent writer and did well at graphic design. His most recent job was at the ARC Caddo-Bossier as a facilitator. His true passion was in the field as a Social Worker. As an adult, he was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He departed his life suddenly on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Davy was known for his jovial spirit. During family gatherings he was the life of the party and kept everyone laughing. He had a kind heart and he loved music. He enjoyed eating and loved to cook for others. He also had a sensitive and vulnerable side. It was during these times that he used his faith and relationship with the Lord to carry him through. He is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, Walter and Bessie Byrd and Ruby and Alvin Carley and a very close cousin, Ryan Carley. He leaves behind both parents, a sister, Cheryl (Fred); a son (Miles) and his mother Kimberlie; two nieces (Lauren and Peyton); a host of aunts and uncles and cousins.
