Doll Ann Randolph Batiste Funeral services will be Saturday Septemeber 12, 2009 at 11:00 am, at the Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel. A public viewing will be from 9:00 am until sevice time. Burial will follow at the St. Andrew Batist Church Cemetery in Derry, La. A repast will follow at the MLK Recreatonal Center. Doll Ann passed in eternal rest at the age of 56, on Maonday, August 31, 2009 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Los Angeles. A veiwing was held in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 5, 2009. Doll Ann was the first born to Thomas Randolph, Jr. and Doris Vercher Randolph on December 6, 1952. Doll Ann was a graduate of St. Matthew High School, Class of 1972. She was preceded in death by her mother,Doris Randolph,one brother,Barry Randolph, Maternal Grandparents Gertrude and John Vercher, Step-Grandmother, Mary Vercher, Paternal Grandparents, Thomas Sr.& Tilda Jenkins Randolph. She survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Frank Batiste and one son, Gregory Batiste of Los Angeles, CA. Her father, Thomas Randolph, Jr. of Houston TX. Three sisters, Cynthia R. Fowler of Natchitoches,La. Christine R. Blackman of Houston and LaWanda Davis of Los Angeles, CA. whom she reared as her own. Four brothers, Thomas Randolph, III of Natchitoches, Craig & Jeral Randolph and Earl Vercher of Houston, fifteen nieces and nephews, A host of Aunts, Uncles, sister-n-laws, brother-n-laws,cousins,other relatives and friends.
