Funeral service for Miss. Danielle Davenport will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the We Care Ministries Church. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Gus Johnson, Jr. will be Officiating. On Wednesday, the 21st day of May, year two-thousand and eight, the Lord called his angel Danielle Denay Davenport to come home to her eternal resting place in the Kingdom of Heaven. Danielle was born on July 19th 1989 at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital to her mother Katina Payton and father, Dan Davenport, III. Danielle is preceded in death by her sister, Karlecia Kartina Payton. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories, her mother, Katina Samuel; step-father, Eric Samuel, both of Natchitoches, LA; her father, Dan Davenport, III of Houston, TX; one brother, Dominque Payton; three step-sisters, Kierra Slaughter, Takeiha Babineaux and Raquel Armstrong; a God-brother, Landen Blackshear, all of Natchitoches, LA; maternal grandparents, Earnest and Myrtis Payton, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Linda Davenport of Natchitoches, and Dan Davenport, Jr. of Dallas, TX; step-grandparents, Clementine Mitchell and Huey P. Mitchell, both of Natchitoches, LA; one step-great-great grandmother, Eloise Payton of Natchitoches, LA; three aunts, Tara Taylor (Bryan) of Natchitoches, LA Sheniqua McClinton (Brian) of Houston, TX, and LaQuinta Clark (Demoine of Arlington, TX; two uncles, Earnest Payton, III of Natchitoches, LA; and Donte Davenport of Houston, TX; four great uncles, Bobby Payton, Sr. (Eddie) Mack Henry Jackson, Sam Phillips all of Natchitoches, LA; and Clinton Jackson (Annie) of Los Angeles, CA; two great aunts, Louise Lewis (Joe) of Natchitoches, LA, and Oreatha Coleman of Clarence, LA; one great-great uncles Jeff Williams (Betty) of San Francisco, CA; and a host of other family members and friends.
