Daniel Coach Dumars, Sr. To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven, Ecclesiastes 3:1 Visitation and Reflection Services for Daniel Coach Dumars, Sr. will be on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Winnfield Funeral Home in Alexandria from 3pm-7pm with Rev. Joe Green officiating. Mr. Dumars, age 51, of Alexandria died unexpectedly on April 15, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Dumars, Coach as he was often referred to, worked for the Rapides Parish School Board for 18 years. He coached football, basketball and track. He loved the Lord, his family, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and people in general; but he especially loved and had compassion for ALL students at Brame Middle School and the Boys and Girls Club (formerly employed); past and present. Coach Dumars made and awesome impression on those in his path. Daniel, the fourth child to Joe (deceased) and Ophelia Dumars, Sr. of Natchitoches was born February 15, 1959 in Shreveport. He leaves to cherish his precious memory a loving wife of 18 years, Deborah Howard Dumars, three sons Mario (LaTisha), Daniel II and DMarcus; one guardian angel- Allayah; six brothers-Ronald (Priscilla), Paul (Sabrina), David (Marsha), Mark (Suzette), Joe (Debbie) and Danny Foster; one sister- Martha; mother in law, Maxine Howard and three God-children: Danny Polk, Calisha Brown and William Cowan. Mr. Dumars had a total of 15 very dear and loving nieces and nephews; all of whom were so very dear to him. Final funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 24th at the Ben Johnson Auditorium; 400 Martin L King Drive, Natchitoches under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home with Rev Joe S. Green officiating.
