Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Barfield 60, will be held Saturday January 24, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Abundant Life Church with Pastor Aill Harris Jr officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday January 23, from 5-6 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral Home. Visitation will again be open to the public at the Abundant Life Church Saturday morning January 24, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Barfield a homemaker passed away Wednesday January 14, 2009 in her Natchitoches residence. Survivors include four sons and their wives, Vincent Barfield (Melissa), Johnny Barfield (Carolyn) of Orange, TX., Fredrick Barfield (Jennifer) of Phoenix, AZ. Erwin Barfield (Sherry) of Natchitoches, LA; two daughters and their husbands Sherry Villery (James) and Alberta Simmons (Willard) of Orange, TX; twenty-four grandchildren; two sisters, Verdell Horn of Orange, TX. and Toledo Jones of Columbus, GA; one brother, Joe Breda of Alexandria, LA, and a sister-in-law, Veola Wolfe.
