Charles Williams was the beloved son of the late Charles Edward Williams and Annie Bell Daggs. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Gertrude Cassimere Williams. Charles died August 11, 2008. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, 7221 Plank Road, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, August 18, 2008 - 8:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. (Kimberly) Williams of Lee Summit, MO, Bruce W. WIlliams, Lynette W. (Wayndel) Delmore, Gaynell Williams, Joy Williams-Moses, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Stephanie Butler; a sister, Vivian Jackson; two brothers-in-law, James Jackson and Roland Darby; sister-in-law, Georgia Mayfield, 22 grandchildren; three devoted friends, George Gardner, Michael (JoeJoe) Davis and Roy Thompson, Jr; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
