A retired employee with A&P Warehouse, he died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at his home in Baker. He was 63 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, 7221 Plank Road, on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Doretha Brumfield; daughters, Tammy Nelson, Shana Brumfield, Gina Harrison and Deon Brumfield; sons, Van Threats, Sterling Brumfield and Cedric Brumfield Jr.; brothers, Marvin Brumfield Jr. and Roderick Brumfield Jr.; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
