Carrie R. Brown (Queen B.) She is 75 years of age, she retired for Caddo Parish School Board, she passed this life on April 21, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Carrie Brown was born July 28, 1941 in Shreveport, La to Mr. Jessie and Mattie Riley. She attended Booker T. Washington High School, she was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and loved cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Mattie Riley, one child Deborah Brown, one son L.C. Riley and three daughters: Annie Jackson, Florence Williams, Gussie Franklie She leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Cathy Brown Long, Nelson Brown Jr., two sisters: Versie Thomas, Bettie Holmes, and two brothers: Mickey Johnson, Jessie Riley Jr. and a host of grandchildren.
