The beautiful life of Bryant Gerard Taylor came to a close on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was 22, born March 7, 1988, in Baton Rouge. He was a member of In His Hands Ministries, pastored by Marvin Parks. Bryant attended LaSalle Elementary School and Prescott Middle schools. He loved to draw, watch cartoons and eat his favorite food, chicken. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 28, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Marvin Parks. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Bryant leaves to cherish his precious memory his parents, Ralph and Sharon Taylor; two brothers, William and Jordan Taylor; two sisters, Jasmine and Chloe Taylor; two godsisters, Rayne Sanfie and Elyse Charles; godbrother, Ethan Charles; and grandparents, William and Gloria Terry and Savannah Neal, all of Baton Rouge. Also survived by his stepgrandmother, Wilnetta Taylor, of Ferriday; seven aunts, Colette and husband James Romeo, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Bonnie Payne, Gail and husband John Campebell, Theresa and husband Marvin Parks, and Mary Taylor, all of Baton Rouge, and Sandra and Iris Taylor, both of Ferriday; three uncles, William Terry and Glen and Don Neal, all of Baton Rouge; great-great-aunt, Elizabeth and husband Ellis Odom, Baton Rouge; and a host of other aunts, uncles and relatives, and friends. Bryant was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Mandy Odom and Vilola Neal; grandfather, Willie Taylor; great-aunt, Lessie B. Zeek; great-uncle, Charlie Neal; uncle, Harry Payne; and cousin, Toresz Neal.
