Funeral services for Mr. James Brown, Jr., age 63, of Winnfield, La., will be held Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. James Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Galilee B.C. Cemetery in Hodge, La. Mr. Brown, a retired city of Winnfield employee, passed Thursday, March 5, 2009, at his residence. Mr. Brown was a US Army veteran, serving during the Viet Nam era. Mr. Brown is survived by: his wife, Jacqueline Brown of Winnfield, La. three(3) daughters, Andrea Baker, of Winnfield, La.. DeShaye Ballard, of Plano, Tx., and Nicole Ballard, of Seattle, Wa. Other survivors include six(6) grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
