A cook and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at age 61. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Saturday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Stanley Plain. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Gardens. Survived by daughters, LaKeisha and husband Merrill Dawson, Renelda Smith, Letrice, Treniece and Leresa Westley; stepdaughter, Lula Percy; sons, Charles Westley, Altory and Darnell Smith; sisters, Linda Holmes, Diane and husband Patrick Sumler and Lois and husband Jerome Seymore; brothers, Luther and wife Janet Wells, Raymond, Larry and Ivory Smith and Eugene Williams; 23 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a very devoted lifelong friend, Theodore Talbot. Preceded in death by her husband, Anderson Perry; parents, Almeda and Horace Smith; two grandsons, a great-grandson and a great-granddaughter.
