BOOKER T. HEADS was born on November 29, 1941 to Warner Heads Sr. and Mae Pearl James in Mooringsport, Louisiana. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at St. Paul Baptist Church in Mooringsport. After graduation from Hordon High School, he served in the United States Army. Booker T. received a honorable discharge and moved to Fort Worth, Texas for a few years. Later he relocated in Slidell, Louisiana where he met and married Belina Torregano, to this union three sons were born. Booker T. moved back to Shreveport in 2012 where he was introduced to his present wife Learlean Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: McKinley and David Mason. On may 31, 2017, Booker answered Gods call from earth to glory. His life, love and memories will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Learlean, sons: Paul, Michael and Dewayne; four brothers: George Mason of Shreveport, Andrew Heads and wife LaVivian of Fortana, Ca., Irving Heads and wife Reva of Beaumont, Ca., Warner Heads Jr. and wife Diane of Los Angeles, Ca., four sisters: Bonnie Heads Smith and husband James of Temple City, Ca., Eddie Dennis and husband Robert, Gloria Mitchell and Alice Combs of Shreveport, La., nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a special uncle Willie James, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
