We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mr. Arthur Lee Hayes Moore Jr. 79, of Shreveport, La.
Arthur Lee Hayes Moore Jr. (Jack) was born August 1, 1938 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Hayes Albert Moore, Sr. & Alma Bell Moore. He was the second of four siblings.
Jack attended Booker T. Washington High School. He married Lorette Garner and later joined the U.S. Navy. To this union six children were born.
At an early age he joined Shiloh Baptist Church in the Allendale Community where he grew to love and sang gospel music. He later joined The Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research in 2000 until death. He also loved watching westerns, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
He was a faithful employee of Shreveport Spring and Brakes where he retired after 40 plus years.
He is preceded in death by his father Hayes Albert Moore Sr., mother Alma Bell Cook, wife Loretta Garner Moore, son Jerry Lynn Moore and Three Brothers Albert Moore, Henry Lee Moore and Bobby Leon Moore. He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters Katherine Moore of Shreveport, La., Sharon LacyNyahuma (Jawanza), of Dallas, Tx., Arthretta Moore of Dallas, Tx., Carolyn E. Moore of Dallas, Tx., two sons Arthur D. Moore (Marqurite) of Greenwood, La., and Dicdric Guillard of Shreveport, La., sister Tommie Delores Harris of Los Angeles, CA, one Uncle Rev. Jessie James Bell and Sister in Law Vera Moore, Los Angeles, CA; 15 grandchildren Racquel Lawrence, Demetrious Baker, Tanesha Johnson, Stanley Moore Jr., Kenyon Allen, Dedrick Jenkins, Charles Ray Jones Jr., Dedra Jones, Lakesha Farris, Latresha Stokes, Loretta Stokes, Garriet Moore, Tramarcus Moore, Ebony Carrington and Na'Haven Guillard; 35 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren and a Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friendsPlease keep the Moore Family lifted in your prayers.
