Funeral Services will be held at the Faith, Hope and Charity Ministries Church, 175 Fairground Road, Natchitoches, LA at 11:00 a. m. Public visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a. m. to service time. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 Funeral Services will be celebrated for Mr. Queen at the Faith, Hope and Charities Church, 175 Fairground Road, Natchitoches, LA Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11:00 a. m. Public visitation will be convened at the church from 9:30 a. m. to service time. Interment will follow at Lawrence Serenity Sanctum. Minister Armad Flop Rashad Queen was born in Natchitoches, La. on April 18, 1979 to Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Queen, Jr. God called him home to rest Friday, February 26, 2010 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, Natchitoches, La. He was baptized in the name of Jesus at an early age at Goodwill Baptist Church by Pastor Robert Ridgley. Armad graduated from Natchitoches Central High School in 1997. During his school years, he was involved in various athletic programs and chosen to participate in the gifted and talented program. He later attended Northwestern State University. Armad united with Greater New Testament U. P. C./ Word of Hope under the leadership of Pastor Willie Warren, Jr. It was here he accepted his call to minister the Word of God. In 2002, the leadership was converted to Apostle A. E. Hyde (My Fathers House) where he continued to minister. He and his wife, Danielle, faithfully served as youth leaders until he was called home. During his lifetime, he was blessed with multiple talents. He possessed great creativity when it came to writing, speaking, rapping, and barbequing. He had an immeasurable sense of humor and regardless of what he was going through, he was always more focused on the well-being of others. His loving, caring, and unselfish nature was shown in his everyday life. He served as a monitor and the first basketball coach at Natchitoches Christian Academy. On April 3, 1999, he was united in holy matrimony to Danielle Patrice Braxton. Unto this union two children were born. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife: Danielle; 2 daughters: Adreanna & Antoinette; 2 Godchildren: Lauryn Bragg & David McKinney; 3 brothers: Zachary Flip West (Shawyna) of Tyler, TX; Sabachthany Queen (Amanda) of Fort Wainwright, AK; and Eric Pogue (Debra) of Baton Rouge, La.; 2 sisters: Tiffany Dillard of Shreveport, La., and Erica Jefferson of Natchitoches, La.; 1 God-Sister: Jennifer Dorsey; His spiritual children of My Fathers House; Parents: Joe & Linda Queen; in-laws; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends; Niki Belew: an inherited wife/sister-in-law; His musketeers: D-2 , Lloyd, Charnard, and Chris; and a dear and special cousin: Chris Brown.
