Services for Annie Mae Fuller Colquit, 78, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Winnfield Funeral Home, Shreveport La.Officating will be Rev.Donald Edwards. Burial will be at Good Hope Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. at Winnfield Funeral Home. Mrs.Annie Mae Colquit died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at home after a short illness. She was born in Frierson, La and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport, La.She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served with the Women of the Church, in Vacation Bible School and the Usher Board.She will be remembered for her love, compasssion, devotion, smile, gentleness and spiritual support that will forever remain in the heart of those she loved and those who dearly loved her. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dr. Jesse Colquit; daughter, Collette Dangerfield, Chellette Forbes and Cantell Colquit; sons-in laws, Okello Dangerfield and Kenneth Forbes; sister, Evangenline Pierre;brother, Albert Fuller; grandson, Xavier Forbes; granddaughter, Destiny Dangerfeild.She leaves a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
