Shreveport, Louisiana - Annie Pearl Hayden Brown,a woman of greatness, with the leadership of a giant, was born May 22, 1960 to the late Pete Hayden and Hazel Hayden, who resides in Shreveport. She departed this life Saturday, June 19, 2010 in Shreveport at 1:15 A.M. God saw that mother flower was needed in His garden and sent the angels from heaven to pluck up pour beloved one. She accepted Christ early in her life and united with the first Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Warren Brown, In 1989, Annie united with the Goodwill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor I. E. Smith. The current overseer is Pastor Ronald Brown. Annie united in matrimony to Keith Brown, Sr. March 20, 1999. She was a loving and caring wife, mother , grandmother and a good friend to those that knew her. She was employed for over fourteen years in Shreveport at the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. She later moved to Dallas, finding employment with the Dallas Parole Office and the Hutchins State jail, where she split eleven years between the two. Annie was a fun and loving person who never met a stranger. She was a person of many words and could alwas make you laugh. Her humorous character will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her. Annie's life was filled with love, kindiness and generosity. She leaves thses characteristics in the hearts and minds of those lives she touched. She leaves her percious memories to be cherished to: her devoted husband of eleven years, Keith Brown; her chldren, Shuricka taylor, Marcus Taylor, Lelvin (Kristal), Kwana, Kaneitha, Keith and Kasey Brown; mother, Hazel hayden; one brother, William Hayden; five sisters, josie Davenport (Charles), Betty Johnson, Justine Jones (Johnny), Eula Douglas (Doug) and Jeannetta Robinson (Cleve); uncles James henderson (Myrtle) and Roy Henderson; nine grandchildren; and a hoset of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
