A native of Arbroth, Louisiana and a resident of Baton Rouge, Amos passed on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center - Blubonnet. He was 63 and a veteran of the United State Army. Visiting at Star Hill Church, 1400 N. Foster Drive on Saturday July 31, 2010 from 8:00AM until religious services at 11:00 AM conducted by Rev. Raymond A. Jetson. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Amos leaves a lifetime of loving memories to be cherished by his wife, Priscilla Gibson; daughter, Jasmine Gibson; sons, Cedric, Patrick, Keldric, Amos, IV and Alonzo Gibson; sisters, Adrianne Gibson Veal and Joyce Hunt; brothers, Martin Gibson, Reginald Johnson, Glenn Dale Wright, Harold Williams, Darryl Williams, Damon Gibson, Reginald Gibson, Michael Gibson and Quinton Gibson; 11 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Maple Mae Hunt, Brother, Albert J. Stewart and niece, Shannon Renae Veal.
