We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mr. Joseph Vanwick Lacour 87, of Melrose, La. Joseph Vanwick LaCour was born in Melrose, La. on May 25, 1930. He was raised by his Grandparents, Clem and Adell Rachal LaCour. Joaseph Vanwick LaCour married Grace Lee McCoy on December 25, 1951. They moved to Los Angeles, Ca. in 1952 where daughter Patricia Ann LaCour was born the same year. They returned to Shreveport, La in 1957 and settled in Keithville in 1962. In 1975, daughter Patricia Ann LaCour gave birth to son James Patrick LaCour. The following year in October of 1976, Joseph Vanwick LaCour and Grace Lee LaCour gave birth to their only son, Joseph Andrew LaCour. Joseph Vanwick LaCour was a man after God's own heart and served faithfully at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. He taught his family of the Lord and remained a godly example throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; and wife Grace Lee LaCour. Cherishing his memory are: daughter Patricia Ann LaCour, son Joseph Andrew LaCour (Deysha); Grandchildren: James Patrick LaCour, Chelsie LaCour, Cidney LaCour, Joseph Allen LaCour; Great Grandchildren; Alexis LaCour, Hillary LaCour, Christian LaCour; Great-Great Grandchildren; Skye LaCour and Caroline LaCour; Brothers; Hubert LaCour (Clara), Ernest LaCour (Mary Ann), and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.Please keep the Lacour Family lifted in your prayers.
